Giants fan falls on face for foul ball, gets hug from female Padres fan (Video)

Need to pick up on a woman? Go fast first into concrete.

Sure, you might have a few chipped teeth, some bruises and a shattered ego but you still get a hug which is plenty enough to cap off your evening, right?

That’s what happened to a San Francisco Giants fan on Friday night (sans the busted mouth) as he attempted to leap for a foul ball. He missed and ended up falling face first into either the seats and/or concrete, spilling his beer in the process.

No shame in his game, the fan bounced back onto his feet but the female Padres fan who ended up with the foul ball understandably felt bad, so she offered it up to the tattered man.

Not wanting to look any worse, the man declined her offer but she was still upset and decided she’d give him something he couldn’t refuse – a hug.

All in all, I’d say he went home a winner after that exchange.
