The Toronto Rapotors are pretty excited to be in the postseason and that was evident in their pregame hype before Game 1 against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday afternoon. Not only was the atmosphere electric inside Air Canada Centre and not only were their as many as 10,000 fans outside the stadium to watch the game, but the Toronto Sun took an early shot at the Nets and their aged roster.

But the only age that was a factor in Game 1 was the youth of the Raptors and the trolling of the Toronto Sun just looks stupid in the aftermath of the Nets 94-87 loss. The whole trolling bit started when the Sun called the Nets a group of dinosaurs and Paul Pierce responded to the dig after the win.

The question stemmed from the fact that the Air Canada Centre was reduced to using a stopwatch and a dollar store air horn to keep track of the shot clocks that weren’t functional. But while the Nets may be old, they looked mature in Game 1 while the Raptors and the empty swagger before the game now looks less as such.
