The 2014 NFL Draft is less than three weeks away, which means the final wave of pre-draft visits is about to be underway. For the Cleveland Browns, that means they will be working out Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel as they determine when to select a quarterback and who their man should be.
Cleveland officials traveled to College Station today for a private meeting with Manziel, before another visit next week at Browns headquarters.
Adam Schefter of ESPN passed along the news.
“Browns officials in College Station, Texas, today to work out QB Johnny Manziel, who also will visit Cleveland this week,” Schefter wrote.
Whether or not the Browns select Manziel with the No. 4 overall pick remains to be seen, but it is certainly an option.
The team has also been linked to Blake Bortles, Teddy Bridgewater and David Carr.
