The Miami Dolphins are reportedly interested in seeking some more wide receiver help in the NFL Draft next month, and they’re going to take a closer look at that option as they’re bringing in former LSU star Odell Beckham in for a visit, according to the Miami Herald.
A source confirmed today that the Dolphins are using one of their 30 permitted non-local visits on LSU receiver Odell Beckham, who many analysts believe could be selected in the top 20.
Beckham told Sirius Satellite Radio today that he plans to meet with Miami, and a league source confirmed he’s visiting Davie this coming week.
Beckham has been one of the fast risers of this draft class recently after he put up some tremendous numbers at both the NFL Combine and his Pro Day.
Despite not really needing the receiving help, the Dolphins are reportedly still very intrigued by some of the top prospects at the position in the draft, which has also led to some questions about the future of Mike Wallace past the 2014 season.
