After an entertaining night of fights at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla. for UFC on FOX 11, UFC president Dana White announced the fighters who took home the $50,000 fight night bonus awards.
During the post-fight press conference, White announced that Thiago Alves and Seth Baczynski earned Fight of the Night honors for their war on the preliminary card, while Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Alex White earned Performance of the Night bonuses for their finishes on the card.
Cerrone was able to and a heavy jab that dropped Edson Barboza in the first-round, which allowed Cerrone to jump on his back and lock in the fight-ending rear-naked choke in spectacular fashion.
For White, the bonus came after a spectacular display of striking against Estevan Payan to earn the knockout win in the very first round. It was the fourth fastest KO in a featherweight debut in UFC history.
