After a thrilling start to UFC on FOX 11 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla., it was up to featherweights Estevan Payan and Alex White to keep the momentum of the card going.
Both men came out swinging for the fences and it was clear that the pace wouldn’t be able to last long, and White made sure of that by landing a hard left that immediately sent Payan crumbling to the mat. White jumped on the opportunity to finish the fight and unleashed a flurry of heavy shots to a defenseless Payan until the bout was called.
It was a spectacular debut for the undefeated White.
It was the fourth fastest KO in a featherweight debut in UFC history.

ESTEVAN PAYAN VS. ALEX WHITE
Round 1: Payan came out firing off some heavy shots that were landing, while White was the flashier of the two strikers with two spinning backfists and a variety of kicks. White used his versatile attack to keep Payan guessing before landing a brutal straight left that sent Payan crumbling to the mat. Payan fell with his hands to the side and White opened up with some powerful unanswered shots to Payan before the ref stepped in to put a stop to the fight. Payan was unhappy with the stoppage, but he was taking damage without defending himself and the referee made the right call.
