Thanks to a disappointing third quarter on Saturday night where the Indiana Pacers were steamrolled by the Atlanta Hawks, the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference watched their home court advantage slip away with the Hawks 101-93 win.
On Sunday when the folks at TNT were preparing to call the slate of games that was on their schedule for the day, the one and only Charles Barkley once again held no punches and unloaded on the Pacers for their poor, uninspired performance.
Barkley’s choice criticism for the Pacers squad? They played like a bunch of “wussies.”
The NBA Hall of Famer also admitted that he would have used much harsher language if he wasn’t worried about the FCC cracking down on the network for airing his comments. Still, despite his slight censorship, Barkley’s quotes were once again pure gold.
