It looks not all the current Philadelphia Eagles are jumping on the DeSean Jackson-bashing bandwagon. His former quarterback, Nick Foles, actually had some positive things to say about the former Eagles wide receiver.

Foles had an incredible 2013 season, and Jackson was a huge part of that success – leading the team in catches, yards and touchdowns. When Jackson was surprisingly released by the Eagles and then consequently signed by the Washington Redskins, Foles had to feel a bit empty inside.

“You know, it’s surprising,” Foles said via NFL.com. “But at the same time, you learn that it’s a business. It’s a tough business, at times. We develop a lot of friendships on a team and I’ve had many of my close teammates let go. It’s very tough, but at the same time, you know it’s part of the game, part of the business.”

And then, Foles said the one thing that practically none of Jackson’s former Philly teammates have stated –

“He was a great teammate to me,” Foles said. “We had a great relationship on and off the field. Everybody has other things going on, but to me personally, I really enjoyed playing with him and I’m excited that he landed on his feet. He’s a heck of a player.”

Translation: “Now what the heck am I going to do?”
