Last week, we saw one of the most shocking episode of the hit HBO Original Series Game of Thrones to date. The King Joffrey Baratheon took in his last breath, and now there will be hell to pay. As you can imagine, this means that there are certain people who are no longer safe in King’s Landing.
One of those people is Sansa Stark.
Soon after Joffrey fell over and began to succumb to the poison that now coursed through his veins, the same man who gave Sansa the beautiful necklace she wore around her neck appeared behind her and informed her that they must be going.
It’s a very good thing that she left when she did, because one of the very first people that Cersei called for was Sansa. Needless to say, Tywin Lannister called for the gates to the capital to be closed, and the hunt soon began for the eldest Stark daughter.
Quickly, they made their way to the harbor and with one last look behind her, Sansa made her way out of King’s Landing.
Once she made it out of the harbor, we find out that her escape was made due to one man, Littlefinger. When the man who brought Sansa to him asks for his payment, Littlefinger is quick to put an arrow in him. As he says, gold buys their silence for a time, an arrow buys it forever.
How long do you think that she will make it before the Lannisters catch up with her? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
