On Saturday morning, just hours before the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors were scheduled to tip Game 1 of their opening round playoff series, Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri set the internet ablaze with his ‘F*** Brooklyn‘ message at a fan rally.
The Brooklyn Nets, who were also called dinosaurs by the Toronto Sun eventually had the last laugh as they stole home court away from Toronto, winning the opening tilt between the two squads.
Nets swingman Paul Pierce was more than happy to take a few shots at the Raptors after the game and may have dropped another one this morning at Ujiri.
When pressed about his comments, Pierce responded that he couldn’t believe Bryan Colangelo would say such a thing.
Paul Pierce on Raptors GM saying "F–k Brooklyn": "I can't believe Bryan Colangelo would say that." LOL

Colangelo, of course, is no longer the Raptors general manger after serving in such a role since 2006.
When informed by Stefan Bondy that Colangelo was no longer the Raptors GM, Pierce suggested that he had ‘no idea’ what Bondy was talking about.
Honest mistake? Or subtle shot at Ujiri?
