This past week brought the utterly terrible news that everyone’s favorite NBA fashion icon and sideline reporter Craig Sager was battling acute leukemia and would be missing the duration of the NBA playoffs. Sager has been a stable on Turner Sports broadcasts, whether they be the MLB playoffs, the NCAA tournament or especially TNT’s coverage of the NBA.

But he’ll be absent this postseason and his colleagues in Atlanta were not about to forget everything that Sager means to them. In a touching and fittingly hilarious gesture of respect and love, the TNT studio crew donned Craig Sager inspired suits to honor their friend.

The gesture is as hilarious as it is touching, and it perfectly represents everything we love about Sager. While he’s fashion blind to the suits he wears, he’s one of the best sideline reporters in sports and has been around professional sports for decades.

No one wanted to hear that Sager has leukemia but the news has brought out scores of folks to honor him in their own unique ways.
