The Los Angeles Kings wasted no time getting out in front on Sunday night, after a disappointing performance against the San Jose Sharks just a few short days ago where they found themselves in an early hole.

Los Angeles benefited off of the stick of Jake Muzzin for the first goal of the game, which was assisted by Drew Doughty and Anze Kopitar. Muzzin ripped the puck through a crowd of players and it snuck right past Antti Niemi and found its way into the back of the net.

The goal came at 1:51 of the very first period.
