There is a lot of pressure on new Texas Longhorns head coach Charlie Strong heading into the 2014 season. After finally getting his chance at a head coaching position with the Louisville Cardinals a few years ago after years of being overlooked, he is now the head of the most high-profile college football program in the country.
Part of what has made Texas so heavily looked upon are the illustrious players that have come through Austin and made their mark in the past, and one of them is Heisman Trophy winning running back, Ricky Williams.
In one of the more awesome sights since Strong became the head coach at Texas a few months ago, Williams actually got the chance to sit down with Strong for a piece on the Longhorn Network and ask him a few questions, such as how and when he was first approached about potentially taking this position, as well as how he plans to handle the team going forward.
This was pretty neat to watch, and Ricky really isn’t all that bad of an interviewer, neither.
