Almost every professional athlete on this planet happens to be a fan of the World Wrestling Entertainment. There’s always a professional athlete in attendance no matter if it’s a live event or not, professional wrestling is that popular.
Now the world of professional wrestling lost one of it’s most powerful and energetic athletes of all time, the Ultimate Warrior. Warrior was just recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and made what was his final television appearance on WWE RAW a couple weeks ago.
Warrior passed away just a day later. Since then, Miami Marlins first baseman Garrett Jones chose to honor the Ultimate Warrior by using his theme song as his walk-up track for the remainder of the year. Today when Oakland Athletics outfielder Josh Reddick was set to be interviewed on the MLB Networks ‘Intentional Talk’, he dressed up as Warrior.
He wore the t-shirt, the arm tassels, and even the mask with Warriors signature face-paint on it. Here’s the Tweet that was sent out by Yahoo Sports very own Mike Oz:
