California football recruiting: 3-stars Austin Aaron & Malik Psalms commit to Golden Bears

As the California Golden Bears attempt to climb back to the top of the Pac-12, they’re going to have seriously increase their talent level.

They took a step towards doing just that over the weekend when they received a commitment from 3-star wide receiver Austin Aaron and 3-star cornerback Malik Psalms.

The 6’5, 205-pound Aaron attends Napa High School in Napa, California. Aaron is ranked as the 104th-best wide receiver prospect in the country, the 76th-best overall prospect in the state of California and the 762nd-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

He chose Cal over offers from the Duke Blue Devils, San Jose State Spartans, Utah Utes and several ivy league schools, among others.

Psalms is ranked as the 64th-best cornerback prospect in the country, the 83rd-best overall prospect in the state of California and the 794th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
