When it comes to the final minute of a professional basketball game, it seems that almost anything within single digits is worth monitoring. You never know what might happen, right?
Such was the scenario as the Oklahoma City Thunder found themselves down five points in the final moments of their game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Thunder were on their last gasps, seemingly, until Kevin Durant showed why he is one of the best players on the planet with this ridiculous three pointer, which eventually was converted into a four point play.
Every point matters, of course, and this conversion from Durant combined with some missed free throws by Memphis to set up the Thunder for the tying bucket at the buzzer, courtesy of Kendrick Perkins, to send the game to overtime.
