The Houston Rockets lost to the Portland Trail Blazers last night 122-120 in the opening game of what should be a thrilling first-round series. There seems to be no love lost between Houston and Portland as both teams are striving to get over the hump of being underachieving teams and they need to go through each other to get to the next step in that journey.
As a result, the trash talking is starting to amplify things and we saw a hilarious example of that late in the game on Sunday when Blazers center Robin Lopez was called for a technical foul.
Rather than simply live tweet it as a play-by-play call, the Rockets Twitter account busted out the Sideshow Bob reference to troll Lopez and the Blazers.

We’ve seen great trolling like this in other series across the postseason and it’s the true mark of a good matchup. It may not be as flamboyant as the Toronto Sun headline for the Brooklyn Nets, but this subtle troll was the only win that the Rockets mustered up in Game 1.
