NHL Playoffs 2014: Anaheim Ducks recall two players

Ahead of their game three matchup in Dallas on Monday night, the Anaheim Ducks have made a couple roster moves. The team has called up forward Emerson Etem and veteran defenseman Mark Fistric from AHL Norfolk, and have sent down goalie John Gibson and defenseman Sami Vatanen.

Etem, 21, scored 11 points in 29 games with Anaheim this season. It’s unclear if he will play tonight in game three against Dallas, or if he’s simply there in case of injury. The 27-year-old Fistric was in Norfolk on a conditioning assignment after missing the end of the regular season. He was expected to get back into the lineup upon his return, but with the play of the current top-six, Fristic will have a hard time knocking out the incumbent players.

Game three kicks off tonight at 9:30pm ET from Dallas.
