On Saturday, 18-year-old Nathan MacKinnon played a big part in the Colorado Avalanche’s win over the Minnesota Wild that gave the Avalanche a two-game lead in their Stanley Cup Playoffs series.

It was the kind of performance that the Avalanche needed to keep control of the home ice, and now the action shifts to Minnesota where the Wild will need to show up and come out on the winning side in order to avoid going into a deep hole.
