Portland police endorse theft from Houston Rockets

The 2014 NBA playoffs are underway and the Portland Trail Blazers went on the road to face the Houston Rockets in game one. The game was a close contest and went to overtime, with the Trailblazers winning 122-120 to win the first game on the road.

This brings up the old sports saying that the Trail Blazer’s “stole one.” Well the Portland police department said they don’t endorse theft, but they’re perfectly fine with the Trail Blazers stealing one from the Rockets.

LaMarcus Aldridge’s 46 points and 18 rebounds helped the Trail Blazers get the win, even though he fouled out late in extra time.

“When you’ve got your best player playing like that, it fires you up,” Damian Lillard said, via ESPN. “When he went out of the game, I felt like our team … had to have L.A.’s back and come through for him.”
