Robert Griffin III took time out of his busy offseason as he looks to rebound form a disappointing sophomore season and return to his rookie form under new had coach Jay Gruden and visited the White House to take in the Easter Egg Roll event.

And RG3 did it in style with some flashy Easter-inspired cleats on his feet for the 136th annual event on the lawn and he made history in the process as he likely became the first person to show up to the event in spikes.

His teammate Pierre Garcon shared this photo on his Instagram account with the caption, “This might be the first guy to wear cleats in the White House.”

How about the first comment on this picture saying it’s disrespectful of RG3 to wear cleats here. Pretty sure if it was disrespectful any number of the hundreds of White House personnel people in attendance would have taken those cleats off his feet if they thought in any way whatsoever it was in any way disrespectful.
