Giants’ Eli Manning expects to be 100 percent for training camp

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning had ankle surgery a couple of weeks ago and that has his status in doubt for offseason activities and the start of training camp. Manning isn’t worried and says it is safe to say he will be 100 percent for the start of training camp.
“I think I’m safe to say I’ll be 100 percent by the start of training camp,” Manning said, via Dan Graziano of ESPN New York. “I would hope so.”
There are reports that the Giants are concerned about Manning’s career beginning to decline. Last week Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride was talking on the radio station when he suggested that this wasn’t the first surgery Manning had and that he had bounced back fine before.
“He has bounced back from minor procedures in the past that nobody knew about,” Gilbride said via Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.
