Jermaine O'Neal: Warriors fans better than Clippers'

The Los Angeles Clippers issued the Golden State Warriors a beat down in the second game of their best of seven series on Monday night. The Clippers won by a whopping 40 point margin.

During the game, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers and Warriors center Jermaine O’Neal began jawing, resulting in a double-technical. O’Neal wasn’t done with the Clippers and had some interesting comments after the game.

“We have a better fan base, to be honest,” O’Neal said, via Marc Spears of Yahoo!

O’Neal might be better suited to focus on the game plan instead of criticizing the fans, especially after such a loss. Warriors coach Mark Jackson called his team awful afterwards.

“We were awful,” Jackson said, via ESPN. “They disrupted us with their intensity. That was a desperate basketball team we played against.”

It still is a long series, and they’re headed to Golden State’s home court now so they’re fans can show whether they’re actually better or not.
