Although they have not have a chance to show it on the field, Kentucky Wildcats’ head coach Mark Stoops is doing an excellent job of upgrading the overall talent in the program.
On Monday, Stoops and the Wildcats landed their best commitment yet when they got a pledge from 4-star outside linebacker/running back Eli Brown.
Brown announced his decision via his twitter account.
Guess its time to get the word out i am now committed to University of Kentucky!! #bbn

The 6’2, 195-pound Brown is from Bowling Green, Kentucky and attends Warren East High School.
Brown is ranked as the 18th-best outside linebacker prospect in the country, the second-best overall prospect in the state of Kentucky and the 186th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Brown, a former Vanderbilt Commodores commit, chose the Wildcats over offers from the Ohio State Buckeyes and Western Kentucky Hilltoppers among others.
Brown is the fifth verbal commitment for the Wildcats in the class of 2015.
