It turns out that the Heat aren’t the only intimidating thing about playing in Miami as the South Beach night life is factored directly into game plans of some teams that visit. At the moment, that team is the Charlotte Bobcats and the night life is something they’re trying to avoid.

The Bobcats are trying to avoid the night life to such a great extent that according to The Miami News Times, the team actually flew home after Game 1 on Sunday night as to avoid any possible distractions that could arise from being there for two days.

Basically, the Bobcats are the no fun team.

This isn’t an uncommon strategy as the South Beach night life has gotten more than a few famous faces in trouble and the last thing the Bobcats need is to embarrass themselves off the court in this series. Still, there’s an element of trust that teams need to have with their players and not trusting your players so much that you have to fly hundreds of miles away from Miami to stay out of trouble isn’t a good show of said trust.
