We are just about a month away from the release of the upcoming giant monster film Godzilla. Late last week, we showed you a TV Spot for the film that showed fans the balance between nature and humanity. Now, we have a look at a new featurette for the film where director Gareth Edwards discusses the filming process, and his reaction after seeing their version of the monster for the very first time.
In the featurette, Edwards talks about how encumbered he had come with the process of filming the movie. He then talks about a visit he paid to MPC, which is the company who is doing the visual effects for the film, and right before he left they told him that they had something they wanted to show him.
As it turns out, this was his first look at the monster actually moving. He described the feeling as a shot in the arm that really made them remember what they were trying to accomplish with the film.
Want to hear it from the director himself? Here is a look at the latest featurette for the upcoming film Godzilla.
Godzilla also stars Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston, Juliette Binoche, Ken Wantanabe, Fifty Shades of Grey’s Victor Rasuk, Hawaii Five-O actor Richard T. Jones, and many more.
Godzilla is scheduled to be released in RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, and conventional theaters on May 16, 2014.
