Minnesota Vikings 2014 schedule released
By Mike Dyce
The Minnesota Vikings limped their way through the 2013 season to a 5-10-1 record. The Vikings had a revolving door at quarterback with Matt Cassel, Christian Ponder and Josh Freeman all seeing time under center. They’re schedule doesn’t do them any favors as they look to bounce back in 2014.
They host the Atlanta Falcons, who went to the NFC Championship game two seasons ago, the Carolina Panthers, who won the NFC South in 2013, and the New England Patriots. Their road schedule is a bit easier, but the biggest game on the road is a trip to the Superdome to take on the New Orleans Saints. They travel to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who are a bit of a question mark heading into a new era under the guidance of Lovie Smith.
Here is the entire 2014 schedule:
HOME OPPONENTS:
- Atlanta Falcons
- Carolina Panthers
- New England Patriots
- New York Jets
- Washington Redskins
AWAY OPPONENTS:
- New Orleans Saints
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Buffalo Bills
- Miami Dolphins
- St. Louis Rams
