NFL schedule leak 2014: Giants at Lions is first Monday Night Football game

With the 2014-15 NFL regular season schedule set to be released tonight, leaks are beginning to make their way to the Internet. The New York Giants will reportedly be playing five games on national television, with one being on the season’s opening weekend.

According to the leak, the Giants will travel to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions in the first Monday Night Football game of the year.

Here are the leaked five games that are rumored to be set for the Giants in 2014, via Paul Schwartz of the New York Post:

  • Sept. 8 at Detroit
  • Sept 25 at Washington
  • Oct. 12 vs. Philadelphia
  • Nov. 3 vs. Colts
  • Nov. 23 vs Cowboys

It is also reported that the Giants will have their bye week in Week 8 of the regular season.
