The defending Eastern Conference champion Boston Bruins currently hold a 2-1 series lead over the Detroit Red Wings in their Stanley Cup Playoffs series, and the Red Wings are looking for a spark in Game 4 on Thursday night to draw even in the series before the action shifts back to Boston.
One way the Red Wings will be hoping to improve their offense is by inserting right winger Todd Bertuzzi into the lineup for his 2014 postseason debut.
The news comes from Bob Duff of The Windsor Star.
Bertuzzi has not scored a goal in his last eleven postseason appearances, but he was able to score nine goals and 16 points this season.
If Bertuzzi can give the Red Wings a boost, they will have the opportunity to get right back in the series and avoid being put on the brink of elimination.
