E3 2014: Microsoft will focus more on games, says Spencer

This year is going to be special for Xbox One, as Microsoft already had success with Titanfall and now they’re gearing up to show their latest games at E3 in June.

The new head of Xbox, Phil Spencer took sometime out of his very busy schedule to answer some questions from fans on Twitter.

In regards to E3 2014, he said:

Another person asked him about winning the console war, he replied by saying:

He also mentioned:

He concluded by saying:

It seems that Microsoft is primed to have a better conference at E3 as opposed to what transpired last year. Spencer believes the company will shine at the big dance, as they could show the latest from Black Tusk’s Gears of War, Halo 5, Quantum Break and much more.

You can leave a comment below on which game you’re most looking forward to seeing from Microsoft at E3 2014.

Last year’s E3 they brought the games as well, didn’t help. They actually had a much stronger presentation than Sony, but Sony just dropped that no drm/$399 ball and that was it. Unless they do something like massively undercut the PS4 on price I don’t see any exclusives that are going to get people psyched about this console over the PS4.

Halo usually brings in decent sales and the new Gears of War could be special. Plus I’m intrigued about Quantum Break. A price drop would help.
