After going out and getting Chad Johnson added to their roster, the Montreal Allouettes have added another notable name, albeit on a smaller scale. Klein was hoping to make the Houston Texans roster in some capacity last season but clearly never made it that far. He wasn’t a bad prospect at Kansas State as his final season there resulted in his being in the running for the Heisman Trophy.
Unfortunately for Klein, the year he was up for the Heisman was the year that Johnny Manziel became the first freshman to ever win the award. We will now be seeing where Manziel’s pro career will go while Klein’s heads to the CFL to see if there’s any hope left of impressing NFL scouts.
