The Oklahoma City Thunder hoped to hit the road with a 2-0 series lead and were confident they could on the road and defeat the Memphis Grizzlies. After the Thunder built a huge lead and held off a second half rally from the Grizzlies to earn a 100-86 victory.

Their plans were ruined when the Grizzlies got a 111-105 victory over the Thunder on Tuesday night to return to Memphis with a split.

The two teams are squaring off in a pivotal game 3 on Thursday night and the Thunder have gotten off to a very poor start. They trailed by six after the first quarter and the Grizzlies have pushed the lead into double digits.

Of course, that hasn’t stopped the Thunder, one of the league’s most exciting teams, from making a couple of highlight-worthy plays.

On one play Russell Westbrook has the ball at the top and is being guarded by Courtney Lee. Westbrook crosses over Lee and quickly gets to the basket for a layup.
