NBA Rumors: Gilbert Arenas attempting comeback

Despite not playing in an NBA game since the 2011-12 season, Gilbert Arenas was still one of the most highest paid players in all professional sports this season (bonus points for his agent).

Needless to say, the influx of money gave Arenas plenty of time to sit and work on his game, a game which he fully intends to bring back to the NBA next season.

According to Michael Lee, Arenas informed Los Angeles Lakers guard and best friend Nick Young that he will be attempting a comeback.

In radio interview with 106.7, Gilbert Arenas said he told Nick Young he’ll work out to make a return to the NBA. He’s not done yet

The former Arizona guard nearly average 30 points a game during the 2005-2006 season but hasn’t been an effective player since the 2010-11 season as he dealt with a variety of injuries.

Arenas, who spent the vast majority of his career with the Washington Wizards organization, spent his final two seasons floundering with the Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies.

Should be interesting to see who’ll take a chance on the man we know as HIBACHI.
