College football spring football games bring us some of the more memorable moments of the entire season. Even though the games might not count for the players, they still count in a huge, inspiring way for some of the fans, and that was the case at the Arkansas Razorbacks spring game on Saturday.

Lifelong Arkansas fan Canaan Sandy was given the opportunity that many Razorbacks fans dream of when he was given the ball during an official timed play and took it all the way to the house for the score.

Sandy has already been inducted into the ESPN fan Hall of Fame, but I’m sure that this moment on the field for Bret Bielema and the Razorbacks trumps that accomplishment by miles.

It’s moments like these that really put into perspective how much not just college football, but sports in general can touch everyone’s hearts and this is why we love it so much.

Sandy clearly stated his case to be the fourth running back of the Razorbacks’ tremendous stable for 2014. Good job, Canaan.
