Reactions have been coming in from all around the basketball world on Saturday in regards to the heinous, racist comments that Clippers owner Donald Sterling allegedly made to his girlfriend that were caught on tape by TMZ Sports. He went on another racist tangent and even made note that he did not want Magic Johnson at any of his games.
But of all the reactions that we have gotten on Saturday, the one that everyone undoubtedly was most looking forward to was that from TNT’s Inside the NBA crew during their coverage of the NBA Playoffs.
Well during halftime of the Clippers-Hawks contest, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson did tackle the sensitive topic, and once again, they went above and beyond to handle this the best way possible.
You really could not have taken that on any better, and for as much entertainment as this crew generally provides, you know that when it’s time to get down to serious business, these guys do it better than anyone who is allotted time with a microphone on national television.
Well done, gentlemen.
