NBA, Adam Silver hopes to have Donald Sterling investigation wrapped up in next few days

After an entire day of anticipation on Saturday following the leaking of the alleged racist remarks made by Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, NBA commissioner Adam Silver took to the podium in Memphis this evening to address the incident.

Following a brief, pre-written statement by the new commissioner, he fielded questions from the media in attendance, and one happened to be about the length of the investigation. Silver had stated that Sterling will be afforded due process, however he does hope to have everything wrapped up rather quickly, hopefully within the next few days.

No matter how long it takes, though, I am sure that no one will truly be happy unless this ends up with Sterling never being affiliated with the NBA ever again.

From this point though, only time will tell how all of this will be handled and what the outcome will be when all is said and done.
