The ramifications of the recent controversy surrounding Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling could reach far beyond just him personally. If he did do what he’s being accused of, the entire organization could suffer tremendously, and it appears that we’re already starting to see signs of that as current NBA Draft prospects are already expressing their displeasure with potentially being taken by the team this June.
Two 2014 draft prospects have told me that they don’t want to be drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers due to Donald Sterling’s comments.

Now of course, this should shock no one, but it’s also further proof that Sterling needs to be removed from his position immediately or it’s only going to get worse. This organization has come so far from the days where they were the butt of every joke in regards to the league.
They now have bright stars and a great head coach leading their charge, it’d be a shame if other potential breakout players didn’t want to join them because of the actions of someone in the front office.
