With their proverbial backs to the wall on Saturday afternoon, the Indiana Pacers were able to pull it all together and walk away with the win over the Atlanta Hawks, evening up the series at two games apiece and giving them new life.
With the threat of falling just one game away from elimination, the Pacers fought back in the second half after going into the locker room for halftime down 48-42. Indiana jumped out to an early lead, but Atlanta finished up the first half on a 17-7 run.
Down the stretch in the fourth quarter, they were able to get the defensive stands necessary to walk away with the win and make sure that this series keeps rolling for at least another two games.
Paul George led the way for Indiana this one in a huge way, finishing up with the double-double, dropping in 24 points and adding in 10 rebounds, while David West ended up with 18 points and five rebounds in the winning effort.
The series will now shift back to Indiana on Monday for Game 5 at 8 PM ET.
