Pacers’ Roy Hibbert will start at center in Game 4 against the Hawks

The Indiana Pacers find themselves going into game three of their NBA Playoffs first round match up against the Atlanta Hawks down two games to one. Pacers center Roy Hibbert has struggled in the series calling the Hawks lineup a difficult match up for himself.

“It’s a difficult lineup for me,” Hibbert said, via ESPN. “I’m not used to it. It takes me out of position to protect the paint and to get rebounds in the paint and contest shots.”

There were some suggestions that Pacers head coach Frank Vogel could bench Hibbert, and he said he’d be willing to do whatever was best for the team.

“I’ll do whatever Coach feels is necessary to win,” he said. “As far as I know, I’m still playing. I don’t know if it will be with the second unit.”

Well, Vogel announced that Hibbert would start in Game 4.

“We won 56 games with him. Now it’s time for him to step up,” Vogel told CNN’s Rachel Nichols.
