Wladimir Klitschko defeats Alex Leapai via fifth-round TKO to retain World Heavyweight Title (GIF)

Saturday night, World Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko welcomed in yet another challenge over in Germany. This time it was in the form of Australian star Alex Leapai, who was getting his shot at taking the title away from the unquestioned best heavyweight fighter in the world.

But when it was all said and done, Leapai never really stood a chance against the champ, and he was done in by a fifth-round TKO after being dominated for the first four.

 

With the decisive win, Klitschko now moves to 62-3 in his career and retains his Ring Magazine heavyweight championship, while Leapai’s record drops to 30-5-3.
