Brewers' Jean Segura has passed concussion test

The Brewers received good news regarding one of their injured stars.

One day after accidentally being hit in the face by Ryan Braun, Milwaukee Brewers General Manager Doug Melvin tells MLB Network Radio that Jean Segura has passed all of his concussion tests. What that means for Brew Crew fans is that Segura won’t miss any significant amount of time by being on the disabled list, but Melvin does say that the shortstop will need to be out for a couple of days.

Segura suffered a small laceration under his eye when Ryan Braun took a practice swing in the dugout and clipped him. Braun himself left the game due to an intercostal muscle strain. Melvin says that both are day to day and neither will require a trip to the DL.

Neither are in the lineup for Ron Roenicke on Sunday, however.
