Stacy Lewis birdied three of the final four holes on Saturday to take a one-stroke lead heading into the final round of the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic. Lewis shot a four-under 68 to move her 54-hole total to 10-under par.
Lewis has not won this year, but it is only a matter of time for the third ranked player in the world. She has six top tens in seven events, and is the player to beat on Sunday.
Lydia Ko is one-stroke back of Lewis at nine-under total. Ko fired a four-under 68 in the third round with birdies on 15 and 16. She will be looking for her first LPGA win as a professional (Ko won two events as an amateur).
Jenny Shin is in third place at six-under, and Hee Young Park is in fourth place at five-under.
Shanshan Feng, P.K. Kongkraphan, and Karine Icher are tied for fifth place at four-under.
Rolex World No. 1 Inbee Park is tied for ninth place at two-under. Park has been playing well with five top tens in six events, but it is time for her to get into the winner’s circle.
Michelle Wie is backing up her win last week at the Lotte Championship with a respectable one-under total (T13).
