The Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers have dominated the world of college football lately, combining to play in each of the last five seasons, including four victories.
They have also dominated the world of recruiting lately, leaving their SEC rivals behind.
Their biggest competition in the SEC, the LSU Tigers, landed the country’s #2 recruiting class (behind the Tide) in 2014 and made a big improvement in their 2015 class on Sunday.
They landed a commitment from 3-star offensive tackle Adrian Magee.
Magee visited the Tigers on the junior day back in February and the Tigers handed out an offer. Less than a month, Magee publicly announced that the Tigers were his leader and he has since taken another official visit to Baton Rouge, so his commitment came as no surprise.
The 6’5, 315-pounder is attends Franklinton High School in Franklinton, Louisiana.
Magee is ranked as the 50th-best offensive tackle prospect in the country, the 28th-best overall prospect in the state of Louisiana and the 447th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
He chose the Tigers over an offer from the Oklahoma State Cowboys, among others.
