Washington Wizards point guard John Wall still struggles with his jump shot, but who needs that when you can just take a steal coast-to-coast and thrown down an emphatic slam, right?
Okay – maybe not, but Wall, poor jumper or not had the crown rocking at the Verizon Center during the Wizards playoff game against the Chicago Bulls.
With a bit under four minutes left in the first half, Wall scooped up a wayward pass from Bulls point guard Kirk Hinrich en route to Taj Gibson. With his momentum going forward, Wall simply turned on his after burners and left the rest of the Bulls defense in the dust as he unleashed a solid breakaway dunk much to the appeasement of the home crowd.
The dunk pushed the Wizards lead to 11-points as they attempt to take a commanding 3-1 series lead against the Bulls.
After a opening game dud, Wall has been exceptional from the field during both Game 2 and Game 3. So far, so good through Game 4 as well.
