During the fourth quarter of the Chicago Bulls’ 98-89 game 4 loss to the Washington Wizards that put them on the brink of elimination Sunday afternoon, Bulls’ forward Mike Dunleavy grabbed his left hand.

After the game, Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago reported Dunleavy’s thumb was in a cup of ice.

Dunleavy’s x-rays came back later in the day and showed he has a bruised left left thumb and should be good to go in game.

Dunleavy was the hero of the Bulls’ game 3 victory over the Wizards, scoring 35 points in the win.

On Sunday, he was limited to just six points.
