Since the day Shaquille O’Neal retired from the NBA and decided to join TNT’s Inside the NBA, he has tried to be the show’s comic relief.
Whether he is arguing with Charles Barkley, using items designed for normal-sized human beings rather than giant-sized people like him or by simply screaming above the other members on the set, he pictures himself as a funny, larger than life figure.
At halftime of game 4 between the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers, which the Rockets lead at the half 61-51, Shaq was at it again.
This time, Shaq spun his chair away from the text to go to the giant board in the back of the studio where Kenny Smith usually breaks down certain plays and trends in whatever game is going on. Shaq stood up and tried to step down off of the set, but he stepped in a small trash can and fell over, going crashing down to the floor. Shaq stayed on the ground as the rest of the crew laughed.
