The backlash regarding the alleged comments from from Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling have already made their waves through the media and fans, but now Sterling’s mouth may have put a dent into his bottom line.
Golden State Warriors head coach Mark Jackson may or may not be a free agent depending on how the Warriors’ season ends and it’s already been reported that he allegedly had interest in the Los Angeles Clippers job before Doc Rivers was brought in.
Of course, with Rivers in charge, Jackson wouldn’t likely be of interest anyway but if the situation did present itself, Jackson says he wouldn’t have any desire.
Per Marc J. Spears:
Mark Jackson on whether he would take clippers coach job if he was a free agent: “I cannot right now. Knowing the mentality, I cannot.”
You have to think that Jackson isn’t alone in his sentiment and that players and coaches alike, both on the roster and free agents would be less than thrilled to play for Sterling if the comments do prove to be true as expected.
