NHL Playoffs 2014: Claude Giroux loses stick bringing puck up ice (GIF)

Philadelphia is trying to get a game advantage on the new York Rangers after winning a thrilling Game 4 that saw them even the series a 2-2. While they’ve allowed the Rangers to strike first again, the Flyers are moving the puck around and have had plenty of quality scoring chances that simply haven’t made it past the glove of Henrik Lundqvist.

But one scoring chance may have been ruined by the butter fingers of captain Claude Giroux, who lost his stick while advancing the puck up-ice.

Giroux losing his stick broke up his own potential scoring chance but it very likely won’t be the last he has in Game 5.
