President Barack Obama addresses Clippers' Donald Sterling's comments

Many people are weighing in on Los Angeles Clippers alleged racist remarks caught on tape including players around the league, former players like Magic Johnson, rappers Snoop Dogg and Lil Wayne even. Now United States President Barack Obama addressed the comments.

“When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don’t really have to do anything, you just let them talk. That’s what happened here,” the President said, via CNN.

The President added: “That’s still there, the vestiges of discrimination. We’ve made enormous strides, but you’re going to continue to see this percolate up every so often.”

The President went on to state that they still have work to do in removing racism from their society, starting with teaching children. Obama stated that he had confidence in NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to address it.
