New Close Up Look at the King of Monsters in Godzilla (Photo)

We are now just under three weeks away from the King of Monsters crashing back onto the big screen in the upcoming reboot of the Godzilla franchise. On Thursday, we showed you a new Japanese trailer for the upcoming film that displayed a lot of the destruction that Godzilla has been leaving in his wake. Now, we have a look at a new image from the film that gives us a really up close and personal look at the King of Monsters himself.

In the image, we see Godzilla rising out of the water near a bridge. While you cannot see the expressions on the faces of the people on the bridge, one could assume that they are either frozen solid from fear, or one of the most terrified looks that you have ever seen. I tend to believe mine would be the latter.

The image also gives us a good look at the texture of the character and the great detail that the visual effects artists went to in order to make sure they did the classic monster justice.

Why don’t you take a look for yourself? Here is a look at the latest image from the upcoming film Godzilla.
